Adirondacks

The Adirondack Park, located in northern New York State, encompasses 6.1 million acres containing 3,000 ponds and lakes and 2,000 miles of hiking trails making it the largest protected area in the contiguous United States. The Adirondack Park is larger than Yellowstone, Everglades, Glacier and Grand Canyon National Parks combined.

Because of the park's vastness, the opportunity to find places that are suitable for taking nature photos is endless.  Whether it is the inspiring mountains, serene waterfalls or beautiful sunsets, a lifetime would not afford you enough time to adequately capture it all.
