Prints of Geographic Features

There are so many opportunities for pictures of the natural world that it sometimes gets difficult to classify the subject matter in any meaningful way. Geographic features may have been the most difficult for me, though once accomplished I have to wonder why. I’ve always enjoyed photographing rivers and streams. As it turns out one geography feature, water, includes a variety of subjects beyond rivers and streams – lakes, oceans, ponds, reflections, waterfalls, canals, beaches, marshes and bays.

Photographs of water often have a tranquil, calming affect on the person viewing the image. Sometimes, that’s even the case with crashing ocean waves and pounding waterfalls.
