Adirondack Spring Waterfall

In the spring of 2004 I meandered for a day near Big Moose Lake in the Adirondack State Park, in upstate New York. It?s the time of year many Adirondackers refer to as the mud season. So, there wasn?t a lot of foliage yet and the forest was seeming pretty un-photogenic to me. Then I happened onto what was actually some runoff from spring rains. A tight shot captured its beauty without including all the winter clutter that surrounded it.
