Buttermilk Falls
Buttermilk Falls, along the Raquette River south of Long Lake in the Adirondack State Park, in upstate New York, is one of my favorite spots to carry my camera and tripod . . . and normally just about every other piece of photographic equipment I own, but that?s another story. I often focus the torrents of water rushing over the falls, but on this occasion I was impressed by a little bit of water gently flowing over an upstream rock. I particularly liked the smoothness of the water that a four second exposure gave me.
