Kayaks on Forked Lake
One of my favorite locations to shoot sunsets is Forked Lake in the Adirondack State Park in northern New York. It didn?t appear that the sunset was going to produce the kind of photographic opportunity I had come to expect because of a thick layer of clouds. Fortunately, I decided to stick it out and see if the sky changed. The change I got, however, was the arrival of a couple of colorful kayaks to add the accent I needed for this image.
