McGinnis Mountain
McGinnis Mountain is just north of the Juneau, Alaska airport. From a trail that circumnavigates the airport you are treated to views that rival any airport I've ever been to. This is just one. I couldn't resist the flowers all by themselves (Fireweed. One of the first plants to repopulate an area after fire, building, etc.) and took many photos of them. But, they were a little past there prime in mid-August of 2005 so I decided to let them lead us up to the dark green trees whose peaks were echoed by the mountain peaks in the distance
