Seminole Reservation Sunrise
Canals are a common part of the landscape in south Florida but nowhere more so than on the Seminole Big Cypress Reservation, where we camped for the month of January. At first I was bummed, because I thought they were boring. Then I learned a lesson that I try to remember every time I go out to shoot... ?look closer.? In this case, positioning the reflection of the sun in the lower left corner, along with the diagonal direction of the canal disappearing into the morning fog make for an interesting composition.
